Media Making teaches creative expression by engaging members in experiencing, creating, sharing, and editing digital media. Activities introduce members to photography, audio and video production, and design. These projects give members the opportunity to hone their creativity, collaboration, communication, and critical thinking skills. For some youth, photography opens a door to creative self-expression that no other art form allows and may even help others discover a career path.

The Boys & Girls Club of Webster‑Dudley is thrilled to announce its brand‑new YouTube Studio, a fully equipped creative space designed to empower youth in digital media production. Featuring high-quality cameras, professional lighting, sound equipment, and an editing work‑station, the studio offers members hands‑on experience in all aspects of content creation—from planning and scripting to filming and post-production. This new facility not only enhances media literacy and storytelling skills, but also boosts confidence, collaboration, and technical fluency—preparing participants to become effective communicators and creators in an increasingly digital world.
