ABOUT US

The Boys & Girls Club of Webster - Dudley began in classic fashion, with a group of citizens looking at their community, perceiving a need for structured and productive activities for youngsters and deciding to do something about it. The year was 1957 and the first Clubhouse was in a church basement. The new Boys Club as it then operated quickly established itself.  In 1957 funds were raised to buy and renovate the Old Dutch Recreation Hall in Dudley.  The 7000 square foot structure still serves as the Clubhouse today. In the late 1980's the first girls were admitted as members and the name changed to Boys & Girls Club of Webster - Dudley. The Club mission is to inspire and enable all young people to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring adults.
